Life story
April 19, 2007

We believe our Papa needs no introduction, but for those of you that need one, we will give you a taste his sweet essence.

Our Papa always said, “Be humble in every little way you can” and didn’t only say it just for the sake of saying, but he practiced it in every moment and turned many frowns upside down. God noticed this and decided he needed such a philanthropist, and so God has embraced him into his heavenly abode. Our Papa always was and will always remain our inspiration, strength, and guiding light. Giving unconditional love was always part of his character. Our Papa was always in servitude to the famished, the sick, and the poor. Our respected Guru, Sant Hiradaram Saheb Ji, always said “Service to the young, old, poor, and sick is true service to God.”  Our Papa unselfishly dedicated a large portion of his life to abiding by this principle and also taught us to follow our Guru’s teachings. We remember the times when we, our mom, our grandmother, and many other dear ones walked alongside our Papa to follow the path of our Guru’s teachings. Our Guru gave us the chance to participate in many events such as, eye camps, food seva’s, spirtitual discourses, helping the handicapped, aiding orphans, and educating the unfortunate. Our Papa specially enjoyed engaging in these activities, because of his will to see people in high spirits.  There was always a smile on his face when doing these acts of kindness. From what we have heard and honestly believe, our Papa was a very respectful son. He was born in Ajmer, Rajasthan and always had the will to fulfill his parent’s wishes. He did so by working diligently and eventually left the comforts of home to start a new life. His hard labor, and blessings from his parents and our Guru, opened the door to a path of limitless successes. You must have heard that behind every successful man there is a woman. In our Papa’s case it is our beloved Mama. They were married one year after our Papa came to Sint Maarten and since then they have always been supportive and loving of each other, which was the reason they bore many fruits. One of these fruits is giving unconditional love to us. We have no idea what good karmas we have done in our past lives that amounted to us having such a wonderful Papa. He was always encouraging in everything we decided to do and would give us warm hugs for further encouragement. He also fulfilled his duties to his three sisters by making sure that they were well settled before he embarked on his own journey. He was always a man of his word, principles, and morals. We know that his blessings are with us and the rest of our family, to continue on the path that he has so lovingly paved for us. We hope that we can one day live to be as great as he was, because he truly defined what philanthropy meant.
